Hello adventurers!

While working on the tutorial, i found out, that i've uploaded the wrong file. In this version, every bossfight will restart again and again and again....

Here's the right one. Sry!!

It's time to announce the full release of Gravestone Dungeons 1.4!!!! "yei!" "cheers!" "flying hats everywhere!" Please, calm down.

I know it has been a buggy and laggy path (sorry for that), BUT we finally arrived.

Within this update, i've added all planned features for version 1.4, meaning we're finally about 40% done.

For all Players, who just wanted the structures to spawn, I've made a structure-only version, but keep in mind: There are no bossfights, no Arcane Nodes, secondary abilities of weapons will not work, no traders at all, horses + items won't work anymore, spells won't work, Companions won't work, reinforcement of weapons won't work, special Arrows won't work.

I also know, that some of you, wanted the update for 1.20.4, but Mojang changed a lot of the code after 1.20.2, that I would've to change every single item to work and have I to do it for 1.21 anyway. That's why I stayed at 1.20.1, but the next major update, will be for 1.21, if everything goes well.

For the full Version 1.4:

I've added a class-system: early buyable parcels from Ysembert, which hold a few class-specific items - Farmer (Sickle + Seed Barrel) - Miner (Fortune's Chisel + Shulker Box) - Equestrian (Horse + Horse Armor lvl1 + Horse saddle lvl1) - Archer (English Longbow + Greyhound) - Wizard (Cursed Bonecaller + Potions) - Mercenary (Poison Darts throwing Dagger + Shield)

Structures

  • added Ressource Caves (are of various ore types, can hold a large amount of ressources + map from Eldrid)
  • added Cheatroom (includes nearly all items, tools, characters to get an overview of the datapack),(can be summoned with /place structure gd:cheatroom)
  • readded Emberstone Bastion - Dungeon
  • completely reworked Cloud Nomads (former Cloud Traders)

Characters

  • 3 Captains of the Cloud Nomads (selling GOOD stuff + Companions)
    • Captain Jerome (Earth Caster)
    • Captain Odo (Fire Caster)
    • Captain Ysabell (Ice Caster)
  • added Guinemar - Beekeeper
  • reworked Alaric Stormweaver (now selling single use spells and one companion summon)
  • completely reworked Ysembert (now selling various class types in the beginning of the game, for a more specific playstyle and he now lives at Direwood Keep)

Bosses

-readded Morbex the Feared One (added mussic for bossfight)

Entities

  • added Companions (followers of various types, fighting with the player and stay near the player - immune to negative effects of spells cast by the player - useable in bossfights)
    • Frenzy Golem (3 elemental types)
    • Swordfighter (3 elemental types)
    • Flame Spider

Weapons/ Tools

  • readded/ reworked Morbex Warbow
  • reworked Fortunes Chisel (better xp rates, spawn in cave structures)
  • reworked Sickle (removed dublication glitch, now showing exact amount and type of seeds charged)
  • added Windlass Crossbow (former Medium Crossbow)
  • reworked Root Longbow (no spawns in a specific structure)
  • reworked all 4 special Arrows (now usable with every bow/crossbow)
    • Bonfire Arrow (large buff)
    • Enderarrow (works as intended)
    • Fire Arrow (works as intended)
    • Cursed Arrow (holy sh*t yeah! it's still fun XD)
  • added Evasive Shard (Artifact: prevents player from entering any bossfight, while in offhand)
  • added spells (single useage, active in a small area)
    • Fire Spell (ignites enemies)
    • Ice Spell (freezes enemies)
    • Forcefield Spell (prevents enemies from entering a small area)
    • Thunder Spell (summons thunder and lightning on enemies)
    • Teleportation Spell (create a home location, tp back there, wherever the player is (with companion)- same dimension)
  • added Broadsword of Floating (letting enemies fly, if hit enought...)
  • added Wooden Greatshield (fires a growing fireball at enemies, when in mainhand)

Miscellanious

  • added small dungeon chest (can spawn various medium to good items for horses and player)
  • fixed 2 structures spawning in the same location
  • finally!!! fixed Overgrown Caves only partially generating
  • reworked all traders (removed leveling, all fixed at max level, restocking twice a day + less lag)
  • added new dungeon books in Zaccarius Library
  • speed saddles now work on Soulsteeds
  • reduced particles

Quick tip: If you want to get into a boss fight, reduce the render distance to less than 12. This will help your PC. Other than that, your PC should be fine.

Don't forget to download the newest version of the resource pack.

Since I've learned so much about new commands and techniques I'm motivated to continue working on the pack.
