Changelog
~ Additions ~
- Added the Verdant, a new creepy Zombie variant with a weakening melee attack!
- Added Howlagers, the vicious result of Villagers afflicted by a dreadful curse...
- Added Pumpkin Stew, a cheap and reliable buff food
- Added the Lightweight Enchantment for Maces, increasing attack speed to make them more viable for everyday combat
- This Enchantment is incompatible with most damage Enchantments
- Added sound effects for attacking with Axes, Maces, and Tridents
- New secrets...
- ...Including new splashes!
- New Portugeuse and French translations by Kit and Phiphi
~ Reworks ~
- Revamped Brutes, scrapping the idea of them being a sub-variant for each zombie, and instead giving them their own color scheme and outfit
- It is understood that the previous designs were iconic, however the change was made to fit the more modern art direction that Valiance has taken, and it was bound to happen eventually
- Completely reworked the Brute Knight, now called the Gallant. They have a new ability and a more unique design!
- Revamped the Katana, now known as the Molten Katana! Heat is now an energy stored inside the weapon itself instead of the player, and it is now used to expel powerful fiery slashes by right clicking!
- Totems of Irregularity now show their color name in their tooltip, and 4 new colors have been added exclusive to Vigilante trades!
~ Changes ~
- Repugnant Sickles are now extremely enchantable, moreso than even gold tools!
- Brutes no longer have a chance of inflicting Weakness on attack, since that niche has been moved to Verdant
- Brutes now burn in sunlight like most other zombie variants
- Piglins can now spawn with multiple weapon types, and can spawn with cursed golden armor while under the effects of a Challenger Idol
- Baby Piglins no longer count towards Bounties
- Drowned will no longer spawn with cursed armor
- Zombie Horses will no longer dismount passengers when submerged in water
- Updated various textures
- These include Rubies, the Vigilante, and Molten Katanas
- ...And more!
- Lances have been renamed to Copper Lances
- Gale Arrows are now compatible with Multishot - have fun completely breaking this!
- The Vigilante will no longer show up on a full Moon
- "Fired Up" advancement has been renamed to "1,000 Degree Knife"
- "Give Me a Challenge!" advancement has been renamed to "Pandora's Box"
~ Fixes ~
- Jeepers no longer move their legs while in ceilings, and their mob head items are now oriented properly in all contexts
- Shiny Bedazzle are no longer impossibly rare
- Lances will often not oxidize while under the effects of Curse of Deterioration
- Tanning Racks will not break when a block is placed in the same spot as them
- Crafted Archer armor can be crafted with dye, which does nothing
- Archer armor given with /loot can be upgraded to Ranger armor, which is still unobtainable
~ Removals ~
- Removed all hammers - they worked better on paper than they did in practice, and the Breach Enchantment fills the niche in vanilla now
- Remove the Butcher enchantment - it just was not useful
- Removed Power, Breach, and Quick Charge stat changes, as well as Power being applicable to Crossbows - none of these changes were necessary
- Removed Ceramic Shields - they had a purpose and their purpose was removed in 1.5.
- Since some people had a lot of fun with Ceramic Shields, they will be available in their own separate datapack.
- Removed Heroic Brine
