G'day everyone! Just as always, I am very excited to announce the Surface 1.2 Release! Don't want to take your time anymore, so let's move on right to the Changelog!

Tweaks 🔧

» Grizzly's Fur's texture was updated to maintain that vanilla vibe.

» Large Oaks now spawn 2x as often in forest.

» Structured Rocks' spawn rate in forest biomes also was slightly increased.

» Grizzly Bear's shadow was reduced to feel more in place.

» Grizzly Bears now finally attack back, as well as defend their babies from nearby players.

Bug Fixes 🐞

» Backpacks no longer lose their content after being dyed in the crafting table.

» Backpacks no longer share their GUI between players in the multiplayer mode.

» Grizzly Bears no longer randomly spin around while walking.

Blocks 🧱

» Carved Planks are a new type of planks, they can be crafted from 2x Wooden Slabs and used only for decoration purposes. They behave just like regular planks, which means you can set 'em on fire, and so on.

World Generation 🌎

» Structured Rocks now also spawn in the meadow biome.

» Mountain Cottage is a new structure that spawns in the Meadow biome. Defended by pillagers, it contains some valuable loot for your adventures.

Enchantments 📕

» Frostbite is a new enchantment, that can be only applied on swords. What it does is basically the reverse of Fire Aspect enchantment. Instead of setting mobs on fire, it freezes them, which leads to slower movement, reduced attack damage and besides that, removes fire from the target.

💡Although you can apply Frostbite using the enchanting table, it's tough work, so I'd recommend you make a little trip to the new, Mountain Cottage structure.
