1.6.0 Update Notes

Welcome to the first step into making the modpack more visually appealing, while still providing the excellent base and performance optimizations. A lot of stuff got reconfigured, plus QoL for people recording and/or streaming the modpack, like an input viewer! It also features the standard performance increase, NVIDIA users will notice the biggest increase due to the inclusion of a mod that uses specific calls that that series of cards supports. It will disable automatically if it detects a different brand.

Addiotionally, I would like to reiterate that the modpack provides a base to add your own mods to. Although I cannot gurantee its stability with user-added mods, it's by design that you should add your own mods if you find a feature missing. (Keep in mind that when you update the modpack, your added mods could be removed. This depends on the launcher you use.)

This update brings the pack in line with its Modrinth counterpart, due to CurseForge now allowing Quilt modpacks. All the bug reports can now be fit in one place!

Patch notes:

• NEW Added IBR Extras, a specialized mod, currently preconfigured to only show an input viewer. You can hide it by pressing "U".
• NEW Added Panorama and Panorama Screens to showcase the 3 main servers supplied with the server. Showcases the BoatLabs spawn by default, since it's the panorama that is the easiest on the eyes.
• Added an entry in the default server list for a local boat racing server (Currently still in development)
• Added the usual collection of performance mods (ImmediatelyFast, Nvidium)
• Changed the controls back to my own preference, if you don't like them, please do reset them all to default

• Added Panorama file to set it to the BoatLabs spawn. Can be changed in-game and should remember your choice.

Server update notes:

• BoatLabs now has Duels! You can challenge anyone by doing /duel {user} {track} {laps} {pits}.
• FrostHex now features Voteraces! You can initiate a vote with /voterace {track}.

Known Issues:

• Copying text with ChatUtils results in the color codes being copied, while being configured not to. A fix is known and is currently in development. Will likely be pushed in a hotfix (1.6.1 update).
• Streaming your game with NVIDIA driver version 545.84 could result in a monochrome capture. Please update your driver to the hotfix driver or roll it back. (Driver version 537.58 is recommended.)
• Rare: Chunks sometimes don't load from cache when flying very fast in spectator or with an Elytra. A temporary measure is flying slower, or using F3+A to reload your chunks from server and cache. If the issue is persistent, removing your ".bobby" within your modpack installation folder will remove any corrupted chunks.

Post Scriptum

A lot of stuff I want to add in the future will decrease performance in the main menu. This is the least used part of the entire modpack right now, so it should only decrease launching performance as it will be using a combination FancyMenu and LoadMyResources. I want to make custom main menu buttons, background video and a composed main menu theme, to truly set the stage and experience that I intend with the intended product of the modpack. So far, I want to thank you all for the journey. I never thought that these numbers were achievable, let alone the popularity the modpack has gained among boat racers.
