2.1.99.r1 for MC 1.20.4

Changelog

Originally this wasn't supposed to be released today. But the final exam's duration was very long than I expected, leading myself to have spare time to allow QuantuMiz to be released. So here comes the pre-release of v2.2.x branch! The 2.2.x codename is now called "Neet", one of the usual common character concepts.

This 1.20.3/1.20.4 update introduces breaking changes, so most of mods will stop working and require authors to work on some changes required. Because of that, the 2.2.2 release may take longer than the previous 2.1.x stable release. Keep that in mind.

This might probably be last release during final exam period, so consider this as bonus as I have some spare time to make one.

Notice: This is a pre-release. You may expect some bugs, glitches, or, in the worst-case scenario, world corruption and crashes. It is recommended to stick with v2.1.8 in the meantime, unless you wish to test it out and report it back to the issue tracker if you find any issues.

Update Highlight: Rebased to MC 1.20.4, Mod loader update, Mod updates and some cleanups

What's new?

  • Rebased to 1.20.4, Fabric Loader 0.15.1

QuantuMiz's goal is to focus on optimize the whole game while keeping close to Vanilla features. However, Reese's Sodium Options and Language Reload does not as these mods making the players confused due to their own UI changes. Because of that I will be removing RSO and LR from QuantuMiz, and instead reverting back to Vanilla Video settings options by default and adding the Sodium options next to it. This makes sure that Vanilla features stay intact with some additional options provided by Sodium.

  • Removed Reese's Sodium Options and Language Reload, and added Better Sodium Video Settings Button
  • Updated configuration files
  • Disabled No Chat Report buttons by default, now the mod will take action automatically if necessary
  • Fixed issue where snooper was enabled by default for QuantuMiz: CE, now it should be disabled by default once again (Modpack Reinstallation or manual disable is required inside Options)
  • Temporarily downgraded Sodium to 0.5.4 due to issue with Iris dependency issues
  • Unavailable mod: Continuity (Unable to use due to indium not being updated), Custom FOV, FastQuit, Indium, Lithium, ThreadTweak, Ugly Scoreboard Fix
