Changelog
This version is tested and works for minecraft version 1.20.1, but since minecraft is really nice to texturepacks you can expect it to be compatible with some older versions.
Newer minecraft versions are not supported yet and will cause some unintended inconsistencies.
After some quite intensive testing, I believe I have removed all issues there were with the previous version (like glitched models, compatibility issues with glass culling texturepacks etc.). There shouldn't be any problems now, but if you do find one please contact me so I can fix it. Now, let's take a look at the changes:
"Sunfur Edit" Patchnotes:
- Removed the 3d Potion models & fixed potion texture
- Added compatibility with glass culling texturepacks
- Removed some 3d inventory models so the inventory UI on servers looks decent again (only affects items in inventory slots/item frames, the actual blocks still have the same model as before)
- Removed the admittedly weird custom models of swords, shovels and pickaxes
- fixed the compass model
- sun and moon are smaller now (because I think they were way too big, especially the moon - it looks more "realistic" now)
Other News:
- There's a shader friendly version now! Use it if the sky looks weird when using a shader and the texturepack at the same time (or if you just want the full version but no custom sky stuff)
- drastically decreased file size of the "low" version (it's less than 0.5mb now!)
- Those versions will not be available on this page. Instead, I will create seperate modrinth pages for them. You can find the links to those pages in this collection or in the variant comparison table in the "About" section of each Sunfur Edit variant.
Modrinth Page changes
As you might have noticed, I've uploaded both the full and the low version of this texturepack as seperate versions on this page. Now I feel like this isn't a good solution for offering different versions of the same pack anymore, so I'll set up two new pages on modrinth:
This page will stay, and will be used exclusively to upload versions of the full version of the texturepack (filename "Sunfur Edit").
The first new page will be reserved exclusively for the low variant of the texturepack (filename "Sunfur Edit - low") which did also get an overhaul (but I will only upload it on the new page and not here - I'll put links to the new pages in the description)
The second new page is for a new variant of the pack (filename: "Sunfur Edit - shader friendly"). It's pretty much what the name implies: I completely removed all custom sky elements from this variant so it doesn't conflict with the custom sky of some shaders. You can also use it if you just prefer the vanilla minecraft sky but still want the models & textures of the full version.
