Tired of Exlusive Enchantments stopping you from being Overpowered?
Enjoy the ability to remove enchantment exclusivity in simple-to-use datapack format, now possible with 24w18a and beyond!
Comes in 4 flavors:
All
- All changes in one pack!
Armor
- Allows Protection/Blast Protection/Fire Protection/Projectile Protection on Armor Pieces
- Allows Frost Walker/Depth Strider on Boots
Bows
- Allows Infinity/Mending on Bows
- Allows Multishot/Piercing on Crossbows
Damage
- Allows Bane of Arthropods/Breach/Density on Maces
- Allows Sharpness/Smite/Bane of Arthropods on Swords
...Why?
Because why not! I never was a fan of the whole Infinity/Mending thing on bows in the first place, and while I do admit that every form of protection on armor and every form of damage on swords is a tiny bit busted... this game has Totems of Undying in it. Being able to have busted armor/weapons seems like no big deal, long term. You still do have to work for them, after all.
What is not changed:
Sadly, the other set of enchants (on Pickaxes with Silk Touch/Fortune and Tridents with Loyalty/Riptide) have a sort of "priority" on them. While I could remove their exclusivity with this same method, it wouldn't work. On Pickaxes, only Silk Touch would function while on Tridents, only Riptide would function. For this reason, they are left out. AFAIK you could make it work with a special third enchant... but that's more work than the afternoon making this took me.
Now go! Enjoy your power fantasy, do a crime, and enjoy this new freedom to your hearts content!
