Wandering traders now have much better trades. Updated to 26.2.

Item and Block Changes

• Budding amethyst can be mined with silk touch
• Emerald ore drops 1-4 emeralds and deepslate emerald ore drops 4-8 emeralds
• Sand can now be smelted faster into glass and can be smelted in a blast furnace
• Mud can be crafted with any dirt block by standing in water
• Keys can lock container blocks, and key creation is a toggleable gamerule (disabled by default)
• Nullification Crystal: a craftable item that removes any individual enchantment (vanilla or from any data pack) from any item. Hold 1 regular book in your offhand when using it to transfer the removed enchantment to an enchanted book.
• Enchanted emeralds can clear marked villagers by looking straight down
• Hearts of the sea now passively grant stored health to players below 40 health while in water

Enchantment Changes

• Extraction works on pickaxes with the same xp bonus when mining ores. Cannot be combined with silk touch.
• Removed fire protection entirely
• Blast protection explosion radius nerfed from 1 block per level to 0.75, and entities no longer trigger the explosion effect
• Projectile protection now only applies from players
• Bane of arthropods now only hits players in player combat, and does not hit farm animals, villagers, goats, polar bears, or endermen
• Lightbringer and Darkbringer now grant +10/20/30/40/50% damage against bosses. This stacks, so Lightbringer V and Darkbringer V together deal +100%. Added support for other bosses.

New Enchantments

Incandescence

• Max level: 1
• Applies to: helmets
• Incompatible with: aqua affinity, respiration

Grants glowing and fire resistance indefinitely. If you touch water, you are inflicted with wither I (0:20). Mobs with this effect don't have glowing.

Multimine

• Max level: 1
• Applies to: pickaxes, axes, shovels
• Incompatible with: fortune, silk touch

Mine a 3x3 area of stones, dirts, and sands, or entire columns of trees. Extraction works with the extra ores mined. Toggle by holding an item with the enchantment in your mainhand and sneaking while looking downward.

Step

• Max level: 4
• Applies to: leggings
• Incompatible with: Jump Boost (astrunium)

Increases step height by 1.4 plus 1 per level (effective height 2/3/4/5). Increases safe fall distance by 1 per level (4/5/6/7).

Spelunker's Curse

• Max level: 3
• Applies to: helmets

Grants night vision, -10/20/30% total attack damage, and +2/4/6 mining efficiency.

Other

• Improved xp adding mechanics
• Added a bunch of advancements as a guide for the data pack
• Utility item advancement recipes no longer announce upon first joining the world

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that prevented some enchantments from showing up in enchanting tables and made custom enchants more common
• Fixed the Sword of Light and Darkness advancement triggering if either condition was met
• Added a way to check if pet entities are empowered
