Advancements+ Mounted Mayhem: December 9
Welcome to Advancements+! This datapack adds over 400 new advancements to the game without straying away from Vanilla Minecraft. From surviving your First Night to killing every Zombie variant within your world, this pack has something for everyone. With more being added every update, you're bound to keep enjoying your time completing this pack. Or, you know, struggle beyond oblivion. Here's what we have...
All of these advancements were carefully designed to be done in even the hardest of Hardcore worlds. Plus, this was also made to work with almost any other pack you may have in your own modpack.
Be warned: Adding this where another advancement datapack is may cause the two to interfere with each other and stop your game. As well, please keep in mind that this datapack is solely supported in English with no plans to change that.
Currently, this datapack includes 12 tabs in total:
Spoilers
-
Smelting Tab
Smelting now has its own tab, as well as a lot of smelting-related tasks and crafting recipes for your new items. Smooth Stone is here, Blast Furnaces are here, pretty much anything smelting-related is here.
-
Ocean Tab
For all your oceanic needs, this tab is specifically designed for you to get everything that's useless in the ocean and more. This includes Kelp, Sponges, and Seagrass if you have the patience. Plus, kill some ocean mobs for extra fun!
-
Friends & Food
The original Husbandry tab has been expanded and redesigned! Now called Friends & Food, this tab highlights a lot of food-related tasks. There are animal ones sprinkled in there as well, not to worry. Some highlights include doing everything possible with Sweet Berries, making your food gold, and many more.
-
First Night
Originally the Minecraft tab, This tab has been redesigned with miniscule tasks you can do on your first night in your brand new world. There are easy ones...and not so easy ones. The goal is to walk you through your very first night in the game, ultimately ending with sleeping in a bed. There are various ones that don't relate to that whatsoever, but they are relatively easy to do. This tab is designed to be done on the first night of the game if you choose to speedrun it. It has been tested and is entirely possible, but a few advancements depend on spawn for a perfect run. It is tested every time new ones get added or removed to ensure it can hold up to its name.
-
Redstone
Redstone has finally been given its own tab. Craft, circuit, and build away to your heart's desire with this expanded tab for all those redstone-based needs. As a core part of the game, this highlights even niche blocks that you may not have known even used Redstone. Daylight Detectors, anyone?
-
Iron
This item has a lot of decent and useless needs. Therefore, it gets its own tab. Craft blocks, shields, and tools as you upgrade yourself in your world. More progression, more happiness. The true Iron Man...
-
Updated Nether
The original Nether tab has been expanded on to include a handful of new advancements related to the fiery dimension. From looting a Fortress to bothering every Piglin type, you're sure to enjoy your time in the Nether even more.
-
Mining
Spelunk your way through this tab. Mine literally everything. Stone, Cobblestone, Copper, Gold, you name it. If you can mine it, it's in there. You can even polish some blocks. Crafting does make a cameo in this tab, but it generally sticks to the right format.
-
Updated Adventure
This tab has gotten the biggest expansion. Biomes have their own related advancements, as well as familiar ones getting new additions. Eliminate every skeleton, dry up in a Desert, get Resin Bricks. You know, normal things.
-
The Updated End
The End gets love too! Not many advancements were added here, but enough to give you more to do in your world once you get rid of the biggest boss in the game. Wait until it gets fleshed out more. Roll the credits!
-
Copper
An underutilized feature, copper gets its own respective tab. Blocks, Grates, and more are all getting the spotlight here. Oh, and our friendly Copper Golems! Can't forget those cute little creatures, now can we?
-
Caves
Oh yes. I separated mining and caving. What's the difference? I...I don't know, honestly. However, this tab focuses more on cave exploration rather than gathering every block within the depths. A lot of advancements were moved here, with some making a debut. The Cave Game experience!
