A very basic Minecraft data pack and mod for extracting enchantments from tools, weapons and armour on to Enchanted Books via crafting, at the cost of destroying the original item.

Overview

  • Extracts enchantments from weapons, tools and armour and places them on to an Enchanted Book
  • Consumes the original item
  • Supports most (if not all) enchantable items

NOTE: Non-enchanted items are accepted by the crafting recipe, producing an empty Enchanted Book. This is a limitation of Minecraft's current crafting system and the method this pack/mod uses.

Make sure you download the correct version that matches your Minecraft version and mod loader if you are using Fabric or Forge. Please note that Fabric API is required to run the Fabric/Quilt mod version of Extract Enchants.
