First release.
Bone meal a sapling, or sneak-place one, and it becomes a full tree instantly — no growth stages, no waiting, no repeated bone meal.
- Works on every vanilla sapling, including the 2x2 mega variants (spruce, jungle, dark oak) and mangrove propagules.
- No tick function. Detection is advancement-driven, so it costs nothing while you play.
- Falls back to a clipped placement when there is no room for the tree, so a sapling in a tight spot still grows without destroying your build. Disable with
/scoreboard players set #force insta_grow.config 0. - Ships two ways from the same payload: a data pack zip for
<world>/datapacks/, and a mod jar that works on both Fabric and NeoForge. The jar is an always-on data pack — no Java, no extra dependencies.
Minecraft 1.21.4 through 26.2. Client or server.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
