Last update I put out only 3 days after the alpha release. That was my mistake. Because I work nights, time can be hard for me to keep track of, and it felt like it had been a week since the last update...it had only been 3 days. I do not plan to release updates that close to each other, they should all have about a week apart so that I have more time to catch any major bugs.
I apologise for that, and I will try and do better next time. I know fishing was busted, which sucks. All of us are still working on things in the background, but im holding off on adding them to a release until I have a bunch of new stuff to bundle together. Im excited, but I think less frequent, bigger updates are better for QA and UX. Best to you. (And Ill probably make a video about the new stuff I add)
This will be the full release if, over the next week, no new major bugs are reported
EXPECTED ISSUES
- Some map names will be messed up, just use the other RP (prev version) and place it beneath the newest one if it bothers you
- This was done to future-proof map changes in accordance with the Poplar Drop's changes
- Chemistry Stand name is messed up, don't worry about it (Shh)
Major Additions and Changes
- Zephyr is now only Supported on Leather Boots
- Fossil "Ore" can now be found (Peaceful bones!)
- Yes I know fossils are actually mineralised bones and aren't really bones don't @ me
- Husks
- Damage reduced from 15 to 10 in hard (still enough to one-shot in hard with no armour)
- Hard is now disallowed on world start (Me + HapppySpud)
- You can still change it if you really want to
- Too many people started matcha by playing in hard and were like "WHA why is this so hard and unfair?!!?" But wouldn't change back to normal :|
Small Tweaks
- Lanterns can now be crafted from Steel (Internet-Hyena)
- Podzol can now be crafted from dirt and leaf litter
- Guardians now drop matcha fish
- Sulfur Ore texture Changes
- Both Hell Sulfur and Overworld Sulfur ore now emits sulfur particles when stepped on
Bugs & Technical Improvements
- Crystal Hearts no longer despawn in the Abbey (Madelinebug)
- Traveler’s Backpacks (and other backpack mods) now do not delete its contents in Matcha (ReinIsNOTaDev)
- Chickens now lay feathers again
- Enderman now spawn in the end
- Signs and Books no longer appear blank (HapppySpud)
- Fishing doesn't suck anymore (hopefully) (Madelinebug)
- Some Maps were broken (esp Wandering Trader) they're fixed now
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
