Roots Datapack

This is a datapack that is heavily based on the Origins Mod. The datapack adds 9 different Roots you can select at the start of any world. Each Root has different attributes and abilities, so choose wisely. If you ever wanna change your Roots, then you can craft a Root Star to change your Roots.

Gloop

Passive Abilities: Bouncy, Higher Jump, No Fall Damage, Slightly Better Air Movement

Drawbacks: Slower Sneaking Speed, More Knockback Attacks, Oozing

Colugos

Passive Abilities: Better Air Movement, Faster Attack Speed

Drawbacks: 8 Hearts, Slower Ground Movement

Trait: If you sneak in the air you get slow falling

Colossus

Passive Abilities: Extra Attack Damage, Faster Mining Speed, Higher Jump, More Reach, Less Knockback, 13 Hearts

Drawbacks: Bigger Scale, Slower Attack Speed, Burning Lasts Longer

Amphibian

Passive Abilities: Better Water Movement, Faster Submerged Mining Speed, Able to Breathe in Water, Natural Armor Defence

Drawbacks: Burning Lasts Longer, Slightly Slower Ground Movement, More Fall Damage

Dwarf

Passive Abilities: Smaller Scale, Faster Mining Speed, More Block Reach

Drawbacks: 9 Hearts, Slower Attack Speed

Trait: Hold a pickaxe then sneak to enchant with Dwarf Blessing

Crawler

Passive Abilities: Faster Sneaking Speed, Extra Attack Damage

Drawbacks: 9 Hearts, Less Armor Defence

Trait: If you sneak and don't move you become invisible

Dusk Walker

Passive Abilities: Faster Attack Speed, 12 Hearts

Drawbacks: Less Entity Reach, Burning Lasts Longer

Trait: If you are full health and sneak you apply darkness and slowness to nearby entities

Jester

Passive Abilities: Faster Ground Movement, More Knockback Resistance, 11 Hearts

Drawbacks: More Fall Damage, Slower Block Breaking Speed

Trait: Attacking a player causes a random event

Human
