⚖️ Balance & Tweaks
🌊 Overhauled Water Temperature Penalties
Water cooling has been completely rebalanced to feel more dynamic and realistic. Water temperature penalties now scale based on the current season and weather instead of using a fixed value.
🌸 Spring, ☀️ Summer & 🍂 Autumn
| Weather | In Water | Underwater |
|---|---|---|
| ☀️ Clear / Sunny | -3% Body Temperature | -5% Body Temperature |
| 🌧️ Rain | -10% Body Temperature | -15% Body Temperature |
| ⛈️ Thunderstorm | -15% Body Temperature | -20% Body Temperature |
❄️ Winter
Winter remains extremely dangerous. Water penalties are unchanged.
| Condition | Body Temperature Penalty |
|---|---|
| 🌊 In Water | -25% |
| 🤿 Underwater | -30% |
🌊 Removed Near Water Temperature Penalty
The Near Water temperature modifier has been removed during Spring, Summer, and Autumn.
Previously, standing near bodies of water would reduce your target body temperature by 6°C, even without entering the water. This behavior has been removed, making rivers, lakes, and coastal builds much more comfortable during the warmer seasons.
Winter is unaffected.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
