FakePlayer
A Fabric mod that lets you summon an AI-controlled fake player — a partner who fights alongside you, and a tireless worker who does all the tedious chores while you relax or sleep.
What is it?
With a single command, a fake player identical to a real player appears. He follows you everywhere, stands in front of you and raises his shield when enemies come, and grinds away at farming mobs, mining blocks, farming crops, fishing, trading with villagers, picking up drops and organizing items — all automatically.
Features
- One-key combat — click once and the fake player auto-enables melee, shield defense, ranged archery and auto-eating, becoming a bodyguard that never leaves your side
- Visual fake player inventory — like your own backpack: toggle 12 behaviors (attack, mine, use, melee, defense, ranged, mace, fishing, equip, forward, auto-eat, dual-use), plus one-click buttons for trap, gathering, farming and anchor; equip armor, sort items, extract XP, pack/unpack shulker boxes, and change skins (with StraySkins)
- Smart targeting — auto-locks monsters attacking you, creatures you hit and hostiles (PvP targets first), switching between melee / ranged / mace attacks as needed
- Auto farming — plants and harvests crops, nether wart, sugarcane and bamboo (leaves one block), and collects melons/pumpkins with an axe
- Anchor return — mark a spot and the fake player auto-walks back if he drifts more than 32 blocks away (20-second check, requires active mode)
- Possess mode — sneak + right-click to take over the fake player in first person and act through him
- Villager trade whitelist — check trades in the trading screen; the fake player only buys what you checked, no accidental purchases
- Auto storage — deposits excess items into nearby chests, restocks what's missing, and swaps low-quality items for better ones (whitelist: armor, tools, shield, bow, fishing rod, totem, cobblestone, water bucket, arrows, food, trade goods)
- Mending auto-repair — every 20s, if any equipped item has Mending and is damaged, the fake player drops all his XP as orbs and lets vanilla Mending repair it
- PvP sparring — summon a fake player anytime to practice PvP, test gear and work out tactics, with a 5-second countdown duel
- Fake players don't count toward the server player limit — fill the server with helpers without squeezing out real players
- Spawn-range overlay — show a 24-block red sphere around idle fake players to plan mob farms
- Fake player count cap — set a maximum in the settings screen; summoning beyond it is blocked (0 = no fakes allowed)
- AFK-friendly — fake players keep working even when the world is frozen, and sleeping players can skip the night without being blocked

- Do not install together with other fake-player mods (Carpet /player, Player Simulation, etc.) — they conflict
- Pairs with StraySkins so fake players display offline skins properly
