The Logic Mod
Do you sometimes when play minecraft, think "Well, that makes absolutely no sense"? Me too. This mod attemps to return a bit of logic back into Minecraft with a forever increasing number of features.
Features
- Chainmail armor is now craftable
There is chain item in minecraft, why can't i just craft armor with chain?
Crafting
- I wanted to balance them as possible, so now they're a usefull option when on low iron cases
- Realistic Fall Damage
Hay bale protects you from 80% of the fall damage if you fall onto it, now wool and other soft blocks too
Details
- All types of wool have a 65% FDR (Fall Damage Reduction)
- A full snow block has a 50% FDR
- All leaves have a 15% FDR
- Soul Sand has a 10% FDR
- Ore Blocks have a more realistic explosion resistance
You say i can explode 15 full cubic metres of iron with just a single TNT? Well now not so easy
Values
I made the reasearch and in the real world these are the results
83.3 TNTs to explode a single Diamond Block!?
That's too much, therefore here are the not-so-realistic resistance values i added
- Diamond Block: 15
- Gold Block: 14
- Iron Block: 12.9
- Copper Block: 10.9
- Emerald Block: 14.8

- Changed item lava incineration
Why can I contain lava inside of a bucket but not a bucket inside of lava? Now that's changed
Item List
- Bucket
- Lava bucket
- All water bucket types (fishes)
- Iron Ingot
- Gold Ingot
- Diamond
- Anvil
- Minecart
- Obsidian
- More coming...
Want to delete stuff? Install Trash Slot or y'know, throw it into a cactus or the void.
- New Compostables
Why can't I compost bamboo if it's a plant? Why can't i compost potatoes? Now it follows a more logic approach

- Boats Step (1.20.1 only)
I remember transporting villagers and falling in that stupid path block, I couldn't get out! Now boats can climb up to half a block, making you able to sail easier on frozen biomes (and to transport villagers)
- Armor negates Cactus Damage
Why do i prick myself with a cactus if i have full armor covering all my player? No more
- Enderchest and beacons now Dragon inmune
And beacons too! The EnderDragon can't break obsidian so anything made out of obsidian shouldn't be broken.
- Glass now breaks faster with pickaxes
Until now glass hadn't any type of prefered tool, so you couldnt break it faster than on bare hands

Basic Logic Mod principles
The mod has some small principles it follows when adding new features
- The mod should never add logic patchs that replace vanilla main used mechanics such as waterdrops
- Additions should add a new game mechanic or usefullness or make the game more inmersfull
- Additions shoudn't affect other mods in a meaningfull way
- Additions shouldn't make player experience significally worse in any way
But most importantly,
- NOTHING PHYSICS RELATED, no falling trees, floating block falling mechanics etc.
