๐จ Aberration
(Impact 2)
Advanced, enigmatic travellers whom carry an ink-filled capsule which they use to enhance travel, entangled in a curse to wander for aeons.
Powerlist
๐ Capsule
You carry an ink capsule symbolised by a โ bar above your hunger. Ink accumulates over time. However, because of your dependency on this ink, you are unable to utilise Riptide, Ender Pearls, or Shields.
- Ink gains faster whilst in the air, you cannot gain ink whilst gliding.
- Tooltip in game explains all the Dashes.
๐ฆ Outpouring
When you have ink in your capsule, you go quicker through the air. You also have passive particles surrounding you.
๐งช Effect Transmit
Hitting an entity covered in ink while you have an effect will remove it from you and transfer it to them.
- This can be a double-edged sword because it can also transfer your potion's beneficial benefits.
- Unlike the effects original duration, all transferred effects only last for 30 seconds.
๐น Shot Open
Being hit with arrows will cause you to lose ink.
๐ฎโ๐จ Evaporated
Your ink is strangely easy to boil; you don't lose any ink while on fire, but you can't dash.
- You cannot use firework rockets.
โ๏ธโ๐ฅ Ink Inert
The lack of ink in your capsule can cause you to have withdrawal like effects, you'll heal slower and you wont be able to deal as much damage.
๐ Lightweight
Wearing heavy armour tends to slow you down, you move faster the less armour you wear.
- Gliding with an Elytra will cause you to passively lose ink.
Additional
Since its creation in October 2023, this origin has received numerous updates, redesigns, and coding revisions. Nearly every aspect of it has been revisited at some point. To say I haven't spent years with this origin would be dishonest.

๐ธ FintrisOrchid
Aberration is an origin focused on general mobility, whether that be in combat or travel. Its fire downside, while basic, encourages intelligent use of abilities while travelling the nether. Dependant encourages intelligent use of mobility in combat, forcing you to be aware of how much ink you have.
