AdminClaimPvP is a lightweight Paper plugin that allows server administrators to enable or disable PvP inside individual GriefPrevention Admin Claims.

Create protected areas that remain fully protected from building and griefing while allowing PvP in selected Admin Claims — perfect for PvP arenas, battle zones, events, and tournaments.

🎮 Commands

Enable PvP

/adminclaimpvp on

Enables PvP in the Admin Claim you are currently standing inside.

Disable PvP

/adminclaimpvp off

Disables PvP in the current Admin Claim.

Check PvP Status

/adminclaimpvp status

Displays the current PvP status of the Admin Claim.

🔐 Permissions

The plugin is designed for server administrators.

adminclaimpvp.admin

Allows the player to use AdminClaimPvP commands.

🧱 Protection

AdminClaimPvP does not disable GriefPrevention's claim protection.

When PvP is enabled:

  • 🔒 Players cannot break protected blocks
  • 🔒 Players cannot build in the Admin Claim
  • ⚔️ Players can fight each other
  • 🛡️ GriefPrevention protection remains active

This makes it possible to create secure PvP arenas without opening the area to griefing.

💾 Data Persistence

PvP settings are saved for individual Admin Claims and remain active after a server restart.

For example:

Admin Claim #1 — PvP: ON

The setting will remain enabled until an administrator disables it.

📦 Requirements

Required

GriefPrevention must be installed and enabled on the server.

🖥️ Supported Servers

AdminClaimPvP is designed for Paper-based Minecraft servers.

The plugin is intended for modern Paper versions using the corresponding GriefPrevention API.

Note: Compatibility may depend on your Minecraft/Paper and GriefPrevention versions.

🚀 Installation

  1. Download the latest AdminClaimPvP .jar.
  2. Stop your Minecraft server.
  3. Place the .jar file inside the server's plugins/ folder.
  4. Make sure GriefPrevention is installed.
  5. Start the server.
  6. Verify that AdminClaimPvP appears in the plugin list.
  7. Enter an Admin Claim.
  8. Run:

/adminclaimpvp on

PvP will now be enabled inside that Admin Claim.

📋 Example

Create an Admin Claim around your PvP arena.

Stand inside the claim and run:

/adminclaimpvp on

Players can now fight inside the arena, while the surrounding blocks remain protected by GriefPrevention.

To turn PvP back off:

/adminclaimpvp off

You can check the current setting with:

/adminclaimpvp status

❤️ Why AdminClaimPvP?

GriefPrevention normally protects players inside claims from PvP. They dont added the option to turn on pvp in specific claim blocks.

AdminClaimPvP provides server administrators with a simple way to enable PvP on selected Admin Claims without removing the claim or disabling GriefPrevention protection.

This allows you to keep the benefits of GriefPrevention while creating controlled PvP areas.
