Changes
Fixes
- Keep reconnecting spectators in spectator mode until their spectate session is restored or ended. The bug made the spectator in survival mode for seconds which could get them into trouble. The bug was triggered on a modded server by another mod installed; the specific mod is unconfirmed.
- Wait half a second before switching to the target's POV when starting or restoring a spectate session, avoiding camera timing issues.
- Active spectate sessions now end and restore the player’s saved state when they lose permission to spectate the target, instead of leaving them in spectator mode stuck.
/spectate <player>now rejects targets who are spectating or have a reconnecting session pending.- Spectate sessions now end when the target player starts spectating another player.
Changes
- Reduce reconnect session restoration delay from five seconds to three seconds.
Improvements
- Add a clickable chat button and
/spectate povcommand to return from freecam to the target's POV; clients do not need AdminScope installed. - Made
/spectate stopclickable in the session hint.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
