Changes
AI Builder 1.6.0
New features
- Three-state tool approval: never, as_needed (default for new installations), or always. Existing confirmation settings migrate automatically. Vanilla command suggestions still require manual submission from chat.
- AI camera shots for visual inspection, controlled independently by camera_shot_enabled (enabled by default).
- MCBLUEPRINT v3 uses absolute world coordinates. Manual V3 placement locks the origin to 0,0,0, disables coordinate editing, and removes Reset to Player. V1/V2 retain relative coordinates.
- Knowledge directory browsing and file-reading tools, plus an Open Knowledge Folder button.
Improvements
- User-maintained knowledge folders: info/, structure/, and workflow.txt. The workflow and complete directory tree reload on every AI request. Bundled encyclopedia documents have been removed; legacy basic_info_en/ migrates when info/ is absent.
- Top-level commands /aiblueprints, /ainew, /aistop, and /aireject. Structure management now uses the GUI; /ainbt has been removed. /click moved to the optional debug-menu mod.
- Removed API key length checks and the Mod Language information screen; display language follows Minecraft.
Fixes
- Fixed tool-round counters resetting after approval, read-only rejection/timeout resumption, and approval-flow parsing.
- Fixed canceled requests reviving when a new request starts.
- Fixed camera shots using the wrong screenshot toggle and improved command execution feedback.
- Corrected selection-analysis air ordering, truncated counts, and ignored-type counts; improved debug-menu option registration.
Documentation and validation
- Updated Chinese/English manuals, in-game manuals, and README.
- Build and unit tests passed. Tested in PrismLauncher on Minecraft 1.20.4: manual V3 absolute placement, V2 custom origin, AI chat and conversation memory, and approved AI V3 blueprint construction.
Requires Minecraft 1.20.4, Fabric Loader 0.15.0+, Fabric API, and Java 17+.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
