Features

In-Game AI Chat

Press Y (or rebind it in Options → Controls) whenever you need the overlay during gameplay. It sits right on top of your screen as a clean interface and won't pause your game—meaning you can ask a question mid-fight, mid-build, or deep in a cave without losing momentum. The window is resizable and stays completely out of the way when closed.

Persistent Memory — Two Separate Files

Instead of resetting every time you log off, AI Integrated+ saves your entire conversation history locally and reloads it every session. To make managing it super clean, memory is split into two distinct files:

• aiintegrated_memory.json — Stores the AI’s actual context and memory that gets sent with your queries. This is what keeps the AI aware of who you are and what you've already talked about.
• aiintegrated_chat.json — Stores the visible messages on your screen so you can review your history in the overlay.

Because these are separate, you can clear your visible chat screen to declutter your display without wiping the AI's actual memory—it will still remember everything you discussed. You can manage or wipe both files individually right from the in-game settings.

Fast Responses

Powered by Groq's high-speed inference engine, response times are practically instant—usually under a second. Chats feel natural and fluid, so you never have to stand around waiting for an answer.

Privacy-First Proxy

By default, requests run through a secure built-in proxy server, so you don't need to sign up for an API key to start using the mod. Your identity is completely hidden from upstream APIs. If you'd rather have total control, you can plug in your own Groq API key and custom endpoint in the settings. Either way, your chat data is never logged or collected.

In-Game Config Screen

Access the full settings menu via ModMenu or using /ai commands. Settings are cleanly organized into tabs:

• General — Configure proxy URL settings.
• API — Add your personal API key or custom endpoint for advanced setups.
• Model — Choose your model name and add custom system prompt instructions.
• Memory — Toggle memory on/off, clear AI memory, clear visible chat history, and check current message counts.
• Keybind — Quick reminder to set your preferred open key in Options → Controls.

All setting updates apply immediately in real time—no game restarts required.

Rich Text Rendering

The mod parses AI responses into clean markdown. You get bold, italics, inline code, code blocks, # headings, and • bullet points rendered properly on screen so complex info is effortless to scan.

Scrollable Chat History

Full mouse wheel scrolling with a visual side scrollbar lets you review past messages anytime. It automatically snaps to the newest message when a fresh reply comes in, but you can scroll back through your conversation whenever you want.

Compatibility

• Completely client-side—works on vanilla servers, modded servers, and singleplayer.
• Compatible with other chat mods as long as they don't completely overwrite the chat renderer.
• Tested and working on Fabric for Minecraft 1.21.x.

Privacy

Chat data only ever goes to the built-in proxy or your own configured custom endpoint—nowhere else. Zero telemetry, zero analytics, and zero tracking. Both memory files stay completely local inside your .minecraft/config/ folder unless you actively route your key through a third-party endpoint. You can wipe both chat and memory logs whenever you want in the config screen.
