Major (breaking) changes
Remove player requirement option
Online player requirement was introduced back in v1.1.1 and has since enabled players to automatically pause the timer if no one is currently in the game. Due to the addition of pause events (see the "Features" section), this functionality is no longer necessary, which is why all configuration and API functions have been removed.
Rename function for controlling trigger scoreboards
The primary function for configuring trigger scoreboards has been renamed to better align with AT's internal naming convention.
Before:/function at-conf:triggers
After:/function at-conf:trigger
Split configuration into behavior and style-related values
Beginning with this release, AT distinguishes between behavior and style configuration, which fundamentally affects the way config information is retrieved. To reflect this change, the output of the configuration show command (at-conf:show) has been reduced to only display style-related values.
Behavioral configuration settings (timer mode, visibility, trigger scores, extra fields) can now be viewed via one of the following commands:
/function at-conf:behavior
/trigger behavior
AT's API system is also partially affected by this change, resulting in the deprecation of API Get function at-tapi:get/full_configuration and introduction of two new commands:
/function at-tapi:get/behavior_configuration
/function at-tapi:get/style_configuration
Relocate several API Set functions
Certain API functions related to extra fields have been renamed and moved to separate directories:
- at-tapi:set/pattern → at-tapi:set/pattern/global
- at-tapi:set/prefix → at-tapi:set/prefix/global
- at-tapi:set/suffix → at-tapi:set/suffix/global
Modernize actionbar string API Get function
The recent changes implemented in v1.3.2 have made the API Get function at-tapi:get/actionbar_string insufficient. For this reason, this release includes an improved version that now also returns timer prefix & suffix fields:
/function at-tapi:get/actionbar_fields
Note: Actionbar fields are retrieved from a player's individual storage, so running it in player context is mandatory.
Features
Implement options to automatically pause at certain game events
To further enhance its usefulness in challenge or even speedrun scenarios, AT now offers six unique config options to automatically pause at the following in-game events:
- Advancement is reached - configured via:
/function at-conf:pause_achieve {advancement:""}/trigger achieve-pause - Player sees credits - configured via:
/function at-conf:pause_credits/trigger credits-pause - Player dies - configured via:
/function at-conf:pause_death/trigger death-pause - Mob is defeated - configured via:
/function at-conf:pause_defeat {mob:""}/trigger defeat-pause - Player leaves game - configured via:
/function at-conf:pause_leave/trigger leave-pause - Item is collected - configured via:
/function at-conf:pause_obtain {item:""}/trigger obtain-pause
Note: All settings are disabled by default, except for "Player leaves game". This ensures that the timer always pauses if no one is currently online.
Add API functions for managing individual extra fields
Using a total of four new API functions, one can now read from or write to individually configured extra fields:
/function at-tapi:get/individual_configuration
/function at-tapi:set/pattern/individual {text:""}
/function at-tapi:set/prefix/individual {text:""}
/function at-tapi:set/suffix/individual {text:""}
