Antispec
Antispec is a server mod that prevents players from using spectator mode to pass through blocks and spy on bases, caves, or minerals. This mod is ideal for survival, SMP, or PvP servers that want to prevent cheating while spectatoring.
Features
- Prevents spectators from passing through blocks
- Players can still fly close to the ground
- Players cannot enter walls or dirt
- Moderators (OPs) can still use spectator mode normally
- Lightweight and optimized system (works on every player tick)
Why use Antispec ?
On many servers, players can:
- pass through dirt
- see minerals
- spy on hidden bases
Antispec completely blocks this behavior.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Forge
- Compatible with most mods
Usage
- Simply install the mod on your server.
- No configuration is required. Author

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
