✨ New Features
Boss Heads
- Added boss trophy heads: Sculk Golem Head, Radioactive Warden Head, Nyxar Head and Nyxar Head (Phase 2).
- Heads can be placed on the ground or on walls, and can be worn in the helmet slot.
- Bosses now drop their own head when defeated.
- The two Nyxar heads can be converted into each other with a shapeless crafting recipe.
Custom Boss Bars
- Added custom boss health bars for the Sculk Golem, the Radioactive Warden and Nyxar.
- Nyxar's bar changes its look when it enters Phase 2.
Shadow Hunter is now Nyxar
- The Shadow Hunter boss has been renamed to Nyxar (entity, spawn egg and spawner).
- New Phase 2 skin with glowing, blinking eyes.
- New visual effects: afterimages, shattering effect, transition ring between phases, and screen shake on kicks and while running.
- Improved clone mechanics: clones now have their own ring effect, chase behavior and retreat behavior.
- Smoother visual transition between the two phases.
- Nyxar has been massively empowered: it is no longer affected by gravity and can sprint at high speed across walls, floors and any surface.
- Nyxar speeds up the farther away its target is, and returns to normal speed as it gets close.
- Nyxar can run across the surface of water, and dives in and swims when its target is in the water.
- In Phase 2, Nyxar gains bonus attack damage and bonus movement speed.
- Nyxar can raise a shield (with its own animation) that applies Slowness, Resistance and Regeneration effects.
Loot
- Nyxar now has a 25% chance to drop a Sculk Ingot, and always drops its head.
- Radioactive Warden always drops its head.
🎨 Visuals & Quality
- Visual and quality issues have been fixed and polished across the mod.

- Fixed the Sculk World skybox, which was not working. The Sculk World now has its own skybox.
⚡ Optimization

- Boss systems, furnace systems and other complex, algorithm-heavy code have been rewritten and optimized to the maximum for better performance.
- Sculk Sensors (including Soul and Radioactive variants) are now heavily optimized.
- Sculk Golem, Spawners, Deepslate Dispenser and Advanced Furnace have been optimized.
⚠️ Version Support
- Minecraft 1.20.1 is no longer supported. Arda's Sculks 1.5 is available for NeoForge 1.21.1 only.
🔧 Changes & Cleanup (LIGHT edition)
- Removed the experimental Arda's Sculks Book and all of its menus.
- Removed the "may cause lag" warnings from spawner and sensor tooltips.
- Removed around 130 unused textures and leftover legacy files for a lighter, cleaner mod.
- Slightly adjusted the Agile Slime model.
- Updated translations (all language files).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
