0.3.2 — Major Update
Combined changelog of all changes since the first public release.
📖 Story
The entire story backbone is complete — five story arcs are now playable, each with its own unique chain and location. Shards can no longer be found as random loot in chests — you must reach each one your own way.
All four endings are available.
💀 Nether
The Nether has become a truly dangerous layer:
- Radioactive zombies and mutant skeletons now inhabit the Nether.
- Increased radiation background compared to the surface.
⚖️ Survival and Balance
- Radiation reworked into hardcore. Without protection on the surface you live only seconds. A full hazmat suit saves you in the regular wasteland, but the radioactive zone and storm remain deadly.
- Oxygen starvation. In sealed but unventilated rooms, you now get disorientation instead of direct damage.
- Closed the loophole where a burrow without proper shelter was almost harmless.
- Fixed a freeze when exiting the starting capsule.
🧠 Sanity
New mechanic — player's mental state:
- Separate icon in the HUD.
- Four independent sources of despair.
- Recovery through sleep and good events.
- At low sanity, something begins to appear during a storm.
👻 Ghost
The first neutral NPC. Appears under certain conditions.
🌍 World and Structures
- New structures, including a house with an archive, a weather tower, a mysterious machine in the Nether, and a cache.
- Background wasteland decor: survivor camps, a leaning radio tower landmark.
- Biocomplex: machine compartment with a generator, a readable reservoir pool, a lived-in nursery in the lab.
- Fixed underground structure generation — rooms no longer "drift" in height across chunk borders.
🛠️ Crafting
- Completely reworked crafting chain: ~36 new recipes with intermediate components (insulated wire, mechanical parts, sealed casing, circuit board).
- Drops from mod blocks — components in incomplete amounts, not the block itself. Dupe-safe.
- Bunker blocks can no longer be farmed from structures.
- Basic bunker block is no longer crafted from dead earth.
- Pocket radio drops normally instead of falling apart.
🎨 Models and Interfaces
- Medical Table — full UI with wear and healing.
- Research Table — technology tree.
- BCU Gateway — bunker command post.
- Companion block and visor on the hazmat suit.
- All converted from flat cubes to real 3D models.
🐛 Fixes
Dozens of targeted bugs found in live tests and addressed one by one: medical table, mutant skeleton in the prologue, villages, ghost, model offsets, regression after optimization, and others.
⚠️ Known Limitations
- Some reactor components — in the next update.
- Atmospheric world-restart scene for one of the endings — not ready yet.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
