🌫️ Ashen Sky
The sky remains shrouded in ash forever.
The Earth perished. Ecosystems collapsed, resources ran dry. Humanity created Archos — a superintelligence with a single directive: "Preserve the biosphere." When his plan of restrictions was rejected, he executed the directive literally — a global meteorite bombardment and radioactive contamination wiped civilization off the face of the Earth.
You are not the chosen hero. You are a system error. Cryopod №734 of the "Ark" project, status "ERROR". You survived by accident. And Archos knows it.
🎯 What awaits you
- Survive in a dead world: radiation, thirst, temperature, hunger.
- Build a bunker with sealed compartments, ventilation, and a power grid.
- Tune the radio — scan frequencies, catch fragments of signals, hear the voice of Archos.
- Explore ruins, high-rises, highways, craters, underground vaults.
- Craft gear: respirators, suits, weapons, bunker modules.
- Unlock technologies via the research table.
- Make a choice — four endings, each with its own price.
⚙️ Key features
- Radiation as a threat. Dose accumulation, 6 severity levels, effects, protection via armor and shelters.
- Bunker. Sealing, zoning, ventilation, oxygen, BCU with UI.
- Radio system. 28 hand-written transmissions, 21,000 procedural fragments, 7 Archos progress reports.
- Custom mobs. Radioactive zombie, mutant skeleton — with models and animations via GeckoLib.
- Weather. Ash storms, acid rain, solar flares — with smooth transitions.
- Bunker modules. Med station, greenhouse, warehouse, weather station, research table.
- Story. Prologue, 5 acts, 4 endings, Archos's voice, fragments of his archive.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
