Astral Storage - v1.0.0 (Initial Release)
Initial release of the Astral Storage mod, introducing a high-capacity, searchable storage block with a custom graphical interface and portable inventory mechanics.
βοΈ Core Storage Mechanics
- Massive Capacity: The Astral Chest can store up to 10,000,000 items within a single block.
- Portable Inventory: The chest retains all stored items when broken, allowing it to be picked up and moved exactly like a Shulker Box without spilling its contents.
- Universal Mining: The block can be successfully mined and picked up using any tool or bare hands.
π₯οΈ User Interface & Interaction
- Custom GUI: Features a custom-designed interface with a scrollable inventory grid that integrates seamlessly with the player's inventory.
- Advanced Search Filtering: The built-in search bar dynamically scans full item tooltips. Players can instantly filter items by name, specific enchantments, potion effects, and custom lore.
- Standard Tooltips: Full support for vanilla hover tooltips inside the custom UI, accurately displaying all item data and descriptions.
- Directional Placement: The custom 3D block model automatically rotates to face the player upon placement.
- Custom Audio: Features a unique opening sound effect that triggers whenever the chest is accessed.
π οΈ Crafting Recipe
- Shaped Recipe: Crafted using a vanilla Chest, 1 Netherite Ingot, 1 Heart of the Sea, 2 Amethyst Shards, 2 Ghast Tears, and 2 Blaze Powder.
π Technical Specifications
- Environment: Universal (Must be installed on both Client and Server for multiplayer)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
