Changes
Changelog - 1.8.3
Fixed & Stability
- Fixed Auction House Reset on Restart/Crash: Fixed a critical deserialization bug where Pokémon listing prices were saved with display commas (e.g.,
"1,000"), causing a silentNumberFormatExceptionupon server reboot that prevented all listings from loading into memory. - Resilient Multi-Layer Deserialization: Implemented robust price sanitization (
.replace(",", "").trim()) across Pokémon and item listings and trade history, guaranteeing full backward compatibility and auto-repair of previously affected save files. - Atomic File Operations: Replaced direct file writes with atomic operations (
.tmp+ATOMIC_MOVE), preventing 0-byte or corrupted JSON files if the server suffers an abrupt crash or power cut during disk writes. - Automatic Backup Recovery: Added automatic fallback to
.bakfiles whenever primary JSON files are missing, empty, or unreadable. - Isolated Entry Parsing: Wrapped individual listing and mailbox entries in isolated try-catch blocks so a single malformed entry never prevents other listings from loading.
- Early Lifecycle Initialization: Moved persistence loading to
SERVER_STARTINGto ensure all auction data is fully available in memory before player network packets can be processed.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
