Auto Miner 1.3.0
Auto Miner provides vanilla-friendly automatic mining and farming using ordinary Minecraft tools, without requiring power, fuel or a separate energy system.
This is the first public Modrinth release and includes the features developed across Auto Miner 1.0.0 through 1.3.0.
Auto Miner Family
- Auto Miner (A.M) — automatically mines blocks using pickaxes.
- Dirt Auto Miner (D.A.M) — automatically mines blocks using shovels.
- Nether Auto Miner (N.A.M) — supports both pickaxes and shovels for mixed Nether-style generators.
- Farm Auto Miner (F.A.M) — automatically plants, harvests and replants supported crops using hoes.
- Auto Miner Controller (A.M.C) — handheld monitoring and statistics interface for linked Auto Miners.
Mining & Farming
- Automatically collects mined resources into internal storage.
- Uses ordinary Minecraft tools and consumes durability normally.
- Supports enchanted tools and Unbreaking.
- Supports directional Auto Miner placement.
- F.A.M supports Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes and Beetroot.
- F.A.M operates within a directional 9x9 farming area, excluding the centre water source.
- Supported crops can be individually enabled or disabled through the F.A.M interface.
- Crop selections persist with each individual F.A.M.
- Planting resources required by F.A.M are protected from automated hopper extraction.
Tool Protection & Mending
- Configurable protection for enchanted, Diamond and Netherite tools.
- Protected tools stop being used at 1 remaining durability.
- Tools with Mending can automatically recover durability after successful operations.
- Default Mending recovery chance is 18%.
- Default Mending repair amount is 2 durability.
- Mending behaviour and tool protection can be configured through
config/auto-miner.json. - Configuration can be reloaded using
/autominer reloadconfig.
Auto Miner Controller
- Link multiple Auto Miners to a single handheld A.M.C.
- Linked data persists with the controller across inventory movement, storage, dropping, pickup and world save/reload.
- Supports A.M, D.A.M, N.A.M and F.A.M.
- Displays custom names assigned to Auto Miners.
- Displays installed tool information and durability.
- Recognises enchanted installed tools.
- Monitoring does not force linked Auto Miner chunks to remain loaded.
Miner Status
Linked miners can report:
- Working
- No Tool
- Tool Low
- Unloaded
- Missing
Miner Statistics
- Auto Miners maintain persistent lifetime mining statistics.
- Tracks total lifetime blocks mined.
- Tracks mined blocks by block type.
- Statistics use
longcounters for long-running worlds. - Statistics persist across world save/reload.
- Statistics can be viewed through the A.M.C Stats interface.
- Stats are refreshed when the interface is closed and reopened.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric Loader
- Fabric API
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
