A new chapter on the road
Automobility 1.3.0 · Minecraft 26.3 · Release
Three new cars, a more inviting garage and Momentum in the main download: this update brings the driving setup together, with a few welcome refinements for the journey itself.
What’s new
- Meet the MC-5, Offroader 90 and W4.
- Momentum driving, cruise control and vehicle settings are now part of Automobility.
- Preview and tune your car in the expanded garage, then take a test drive and return to the same tuning session.
- Try the updated vehicle lighting with Balanced as the default and the B fallback still available.
The finishing touches
- The vehicle HUD stays compact at large GUI scales while keeping your saved size and position.
- Petrol and diesel cars now lose half as much speed from passive coasting. EV behaviour and active braking are unchanged.
- The MC-5 accelerates 25% faster below cruising speed, with its existing speed limits retained.
Before you update
Back up your world and configuration. Remove the old standalone Momentum JAR; its features are included now. Keep your settings and key bindings.
For the full Offchunk setup, use matching Minecraft 26.3 files of P&P, Powerworks and Autoradio. Bundled integrations stay inside their main downloads.
For this file: Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric Loader >=0.19.5 · Fabric API >=0.161.0+26.3 · Java 25+. Use dependencies built for Minecraft 26.3.
Code is MIT; the specified new vehicle artwork and original EV chime are CC BY 4.0. See the included licence and attribution files.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
