Changes
Added:
- Persistent per-world pet registry (
data/bell-of-companions/) - Registry backup/import commands:
petbell exportRegistry, petbell importRegistry <file> - Registry auto-backfill from loaded tagged pets during list refreshes
- Death tracking: time, dimension, and coordinates recorded; dead pets show
Deadstatus in the list - Per dead-entry actions: right-click copies death coordinates; Ctrl+right-click teleports to death location (cross-dimension, requires Pet Bell);
Removebutton (owner-only) Reviveaction (owner-only): withrevive_respawn_entityenabled, spawns the pet at its death coordinates with saved appearance restored- Registry pruning to prevent unbounded growth (default 5000 entries, removes oldest untagged first)
- Pet List metadata: UUID, status, health, max health, ownership, last seen, last death info
- Pet List search (by name or type) and sort modes (nearest, furthest, name, type)
- Multi-select recall: shift-click to select, then "Recall Selected"
- Per-row actions with click shortcuts: left-click to recall, right-click to untag
- Server-side ownership and item checks (Recall requires Pet Bell, Untag requires Pet Tagger)
- Offline untag support via registry
- Health color coding (green/yellow/red) and formatted metadata in the Pet List
- Optional confirm dialogs for destructive actions (Untag, Remove, Revive, Teleport)
Changed:
Loadedlist status now requires live entity health data from an active entity instance
Fixed:
- Pet List variant and color rendering for wolves, cats, frogs, and other pets when unloaded
- Revived pets no longer lose name, tame status, or ownership; fox trust is correctly restored
- Stale dead entries: deaths are now captured before the entity is removed from the world
- Pet List button layout is now dynamic - no gaps on live entries; order is Recall/Untag (alive) or Revive/Remove (dead)
- Pet List blur crash (
Can only blur once per frame) hardened further
Improved:
- Pet List single-recall reuses bell teleport animation and effects
- Pet List UI layout, scrolling, and readability for large lists
- Server response caching: short-lived per-player cache with movement-aware invalidation
- Cross-version parity: all features ship identically in 1.21.1 and 1.21.11
New config options:
allow_cross_dimension_teleport- teleport to death location across dimensions (default:true)revive_respawn_entity- respawn the entity at death coords on revive; if disabled, revive only clears dead status (default:true)pet_list_confirm_destructive_actions- confirm dialog before destructive actions (default:true)max_registry_entries- registry pruning cap (default:5000)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
