This is the final update... Okay, just kidding.
I'm going to rewrite the mod from scratch for the following reasons:
- I'm not satisfied with the plugins my mod requires, meaning I'll be using other plugins because the old ones aren't updated and they don't work very well in multiplayer (for example, the playerAnimator plugin).
- The mod code has become unwieldy and overly complex, so I'll have to write the mod from scratch.
- I've been adding items without giving them functions, but this time I'll be doing EVERYTHING.
- (This isn't really a reason, but a spoiler.) I'll be reworking the alien models and animations (not all of them), and the alien selection system will also change.
- It's quite difficult to make a mod alone, and I don't get anything out of it, so the next version should at least be playable, since right now I've only added 3D models of the aliens without giving them any abilities.
Conclusion: The next version won't be released anytime soon because I'm still taking extra classes at college, but I'll post spoilers in the channel. And if you care about my work, you can support me on Boosty https://boosty.to/ruperhero
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
