Better Days Display is a lightweight survival progression datapack built around a clean and configurable day counter.

Track survived days independently for every player, display progression directly in the action bar and celebrate important milestones with custom titles, effects and selected rewards.

Configuration

Better Days Display includes an interactive in-game settings menu.

Open the settings menu:

/function betterdays:settings/open

Available settings include:

  • Enable or disable Better Days Display
  • Toggle the permanent day counter
  • Toggle the new-day popup
  • Toggle the day-change animation
  • Enable or disable milestone events
  • Choose between White, Gold, Aqua, Green and Red
  • Select a 2, 5 or 10 second popup duration
  • Reset your personal day progression

Installation

Download the package matching your Minecraft version and place the ZIP directly inside your world's datapacks folder.

Run /reload if the world is already running.

Better Days Display works in vanilla Minecraft, modded worlds and multiplayer servers without requiring a mod loader.
