Changes
New: a font per language
- Pick a different font for each language, such as one for English, one for Chinese and one for Russian. They all work at once, even within the same chat line.
- A new language button at the top of the menu starts on your game language. Browse and Library only show fonts that support the selected language, previewed in that language.
- Supported: Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Lao, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Georgian and Armenian.
- Arabic only offers fonts that have the letter shapes Minecraft needs, such as Noto Sans Arabic and IBM Plex Sans Arabic.
- Hindi, Tamil and Kannada letters can still look unjoined, because Minecraft doesn't join them in any font.
Fixes
- Resource packs that draw emoji or icons over Chinese characters now work alongside the mod. It no longer hides other packs' glyphs.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
