Changes
Improved
- Expanded volume slider range: 0% to 1000%.
- Expanded pitch slider range: 0.1x to 4x.
- Increased the OpenAL gain limit for individual sounds to support the higher volume range.
- Downloaded sounds are now saved to the Downloads folder instead of the Desktop.
- Saving a profile now safely treats an empty profile name as
Default.
Fixed
- Volume settings now work for one-shot sounds such as block breaking, footsteps, and UI clicks. Previously, they mainly applied to music and other ticking sounds.
- Pitch is no longer clamped back to Vanilla's range after applying the setting. High- and low-pitched sounds can now be adjusted reliably.
- Changing pitch restarts an active preview so the change is audible immediately.
- Imported OGG files are now correctly added to the generated resource-pack definition.
- Resetting a sound removes its active replacement definition and reloads resources.
- Switching profiles now rebuilds and reloads the matching sound replacements.
- Unused
sounds.jsonfiles in the generated resource pack are removed, preventing old replacements from staying active. - Incomplete or manually edited configuration files no longer cause crashes when data is missing.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
