Changes
Changes
- Caves and biomes can no longer be disabled in biomes.json, and recipes no longer in the unused recipes.json; old entries are ignored with a warning
- Blocks and items (including the elytras) can no longer be disabled in the config; old disabled entries are ignored or removed instead of crashing the game (BetterEnd#281, BetterEnd#372)
- Built for Fabric API 0.92.12+1.20.1 (Fabric Loader 0.19.5)
Fixes
- BetterEnd lanterns are no longer waterlogged by default
- End cave biomes are placed the same way every time a world is generated
- End features no longer read or write outside their generation area, which could crash or misplace blocks with C2ME
- Eternal portals to the Nether keep the 8:1 coordinate scale and still lead back to the portal they came from (BetterEnd#329)
- Infusion recipes in datapacks can name catalysts as a plain item id again
- Eternal portals keyed to a dimension other than the Overworld in portals.json (e.g. the Nether) teleport to that dimension and back again (BetterEnd#329)
- The
voidRingSizegenerator option sets the size of the empty ring around the central End island for new worlds again (BetterEnd#288) - The Crystalite Elytra hides the player's cape like the vanilla and armored elytras (BetterEnd#295)
- BetterEnd anvils are part of the vanilla anvil item tag, improving compatibility with other mods (BetterEnd#303)
- The guide book recipe no longer logs a parsing error on every start when Patchouli is not installed (BetterEnd#365, BetterEnd#305, BetterEnd#351)
- Mountains and lakes are no longer cut off at chunk borders when generation continues after a world reload (BetterEnd#556)
- Left fin of the End Fish was attached in the middle of its body instead of on its side (BetterEnd#503)
- Hydralux, lilies, lotus and umbrella moss trigger observers and BUDs when they grow (BetterEnd#456)
- Bulb lanterns and stone lanterns are mined with a pickaxe instead of an axe (BetterEnd#370)
- End village chests hand out normal Runed Flavolite instead of the unbreakable Eternal Runed Flavolite (BetterEnd#381)
- The Crystalite set bonus no longer gives Regeneration to mobs without armor slots (BetterEnd#494, BetterEnd#333, BetterEnd#493)
- Using a debug stick on an eternal portal no longer crashes every client in render distance; invalid portal values fall back to the default colour (BetterEnd#527, BetterEnd#355)
- Opening an Eternal Portal no longer freezes or crashes the server while searching for the exit location (BetterEnd#572, BetterEnd#293, BetterEnd#376, BetterEnd#530)
- End world generation no longer crashes with "Cannot set property ..." or "Feature placement" when chunks generate on several threads (C2ME) (BetterEnd#477, BetterEnd#523, BetterEnd#531, BetterEnd#284, BetterEnd#311, BetterEnd#301, BetterEnd#379, BetterEnd#404, BetterEnd#587)
- The game no longer crashes on startup when Dye Depot (or another mod adding dye colors) is installed (BCLib#217, BetterEnd#374, BetterEnd#436, BetterEnd#515, BetterEnd#575)
- Lithium no longer floods dedicated server consoles with "Class Analysis Error" for our blocks and items (BCLib#240)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
