Moderation and staff-ops platform for Minecraft networks: punishments, reports, tickets, a chat filter, staff stats, and a web panel — all backed by one embedded database, whether you're running a single server or a whole proxy network.
Runs on Paper (and Folia), plain Spigot, Velocity, and BungeeCord/Waterfall. Needs Java 21 or newer.
This page distributes the Free edition. Standard ($34.99, single server) and Network ($59.99, full proxy network) unlock the web panel, Discord bot, reports/tickets/appeals, chat filter, alt detection, punishment templates, and MySQL storage — available at betterwarden.dev. Same jar family, same config, no migration: drop in the paid jar, restart, and everything below lights up.
What's in the Free edition
- Full punishment suite: ban, mute, kick, warn (+ temp variants), silent variants, IP bans
- In-game GUI: player lookup, punishment history
- Single server, SQLite storage
- Community support
What Standard/Network add
- Embedded web admin panel — punishment browser, player profiles, staff accounts & roles, branding
- Discord bot — moderation slash commands, live punishment feed, weekly staff digest, account linking, interactive report cards with one-click Claim/Teleport/Punish/Dismiss buttons
- Reports, tickets & appeals (in-game GUI + panel)
- Chat filter — blocked words/regex, auto-punish on repeat offenders
- Alt detection / ban evasion
- Punishment templates + escalation ladders
- Staff notes
- MySQL storage
- Network tier only: unlimited backend servers behind one proxy, network-wide
/gban /gmute /gkick, one shared database & panel for the whole network

Installation
Drop the jar in plugins/ and restart. There's no setup wizard in the Free edition — no web panel, so nothing to open in a browser. Once the jar's in place, the punishment commands and /lookup//history work immediately. /warden status confirms it booted correctly and tells you which edition you're running.
