Changes
[1.12.0] — 2026-09-29
Ideas and bug report: SlayerIbn — thank you!
Added
gestureWheel— the gesture wheel can be turned off for everyone. The item sign could already be turned off withmuteItemSign; now both keys say plainly that the feature is disabled on the server instead of opening a screen for nothing.everyoneCannotChat, everyoneCannotWriteSigns, everyoneCannotWriteBooks— close the ways around gestures for every player with a class (players without one are not affected). Signs can still be placed, just blank — the editor never opens. Every rule that is on shows up in the class description (/bmd).
Fixed
- F1 removed the blind player's black screen. The black is part of the HUD, so hiding the HUD revealed the world — in every blindness mode. The blind player can no longer hide the HUD, including when it was hidden before they got the class.
- A player joining the server did not get their class. The join-time sync went out to
the player list, which the joining player is not on yet — the class and settings only
reached the client on the next
/bmd set/random/mode. A blind player who reconnected could therefore see the world, and the challenge timer stood still.
Note
- The sync packet changed — client and server both need 1.12.0.
Optional dependencies

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
