⚡ Blitz: Alpha 0.2.1
🩹 Hotfix Release! This patch keeps the 0.2.0 feature set intact while heavily stabilizing survival play. We've focused on smoothing out the new fluid/logistics loop, fixing micro covers, and balancing early rubber progression.
🛠️ Hotfixes & Balance Changes
💧 Fluid & Item Logistics
- Cauldron Draining: Pump pipes can now drain full water and lava cauldrons safely without deleting or corrupting the cauldron block.
- Smarter Routing: Item pipes and pump pipes now actively try compatible sided inventory faces when inserting into furnace-like targets. This greatly improves routing into blocks like the
FurnaceandBlast Furnace. - Magma Former Visuals: The thermometer on the
Magma Formernow correctly keeps its cold blue base visible while active heat fills above it. Also fixed the front water/lava indicators so they properly render on the outer front face again.
🧱 Micro Covers
- Seamless Rendering: Standalone and pipe/cable-attached micro covers now share the exact same lighting and tint path, greatly reducing any color mismatch.
- Persistence: Micro covers now retain their source block texture even when a covered pipe or cable is broken and rebuilt. Additionally, they no longer break just because the block they were attached to was removed.
- QoL Improvements: - Middle-click (pick block) now correctly copies the targeted micro cover stack.
- Placement logic improved: Placing a cover now uses the aimed edge, automatically falling back to the nearest free face if the clicked face is already occupied.
🌳 Rubber Age Progression
- Tool Balancing:
Tree Tapdurability has been reduced from 64 to 24 uses. - Drop Rates: Rubber sapling drop rates from leaves have been reduced from 15% to 8%.
- Resin Yields:
Resinous Logsnow use a weightedRaw Rubberdrop table instead of a flat 1-3 roll. - Vanilla Integration: Rubber logs, stripped rubber logs, resin logs, rubber planks, and rubber saplings now properly utilize vanilla-like fuel and tag behavior.
- Trading: Wandering Traders can now occasionally offer rubber saplings.
⚙️ Compatibility & Metadata
- Version Lock: Version metadata is now strictly locked to
0.2.1-alphaacross build properties and mod metadata. - 1.21.1 Focused: Minecraft version support is locked to
1.21.1for this hotfix to ensure total stability with current NeoForge, Patchouli, and JEI dependency lines.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
