⚡ Blitz: Alpha 0.1.0
🚀 The First Public Alpha Release! Welcome to the foundation of Blitz. This update establishes the core mechanics of packet-based electricity, mechanical basics, and grid safety.
✨ New Features & Content
⚙️ Primitive & Mechanical Age
- Added the mechanical production chain:
Wooden Crank,Mortar, andSpring Winder. - Implemented the core spring-tension system.
🌳 The Rubber Age
- Added
Rubber TreesandResinous Logs. - Added the
Tree Tapto extractRaw Rubber, which can be smelted intoCured Rubber. - Introduced low, medium, and high Insulation Tiers for safe wiring.
🔌 Electrical Infrastructure
- Added
Copper,Gold,Tin,Iron, andGlass Fibercables. - Added
LV,MV, andHV Transformersfor voltage management. - Added the
Fuse BoxalongsideCopper,Gold,Tin, andIron Fusesfor grid protection.
🔋 Power & Machines
- Added generation and processing blocks:
Solar PanelandMacerator. - Added the
Universal Battery Stationfor energy storage and transfer.
⚖️ Gameplay & Balance Changes
- Packet-Based Energy: Blitz energy now travels in discrete packets, completely changing how power is managed.
- Raw Power is Dangerous: Feeding raw generated energy directly into low-voltage machines is now highly unstable.
- The "Solar Trap": The classic
Solar Panel -> Copper Cable -> Maceratorsetup is no longer safe. An LV Transformer is now a strict requirement for early-game survival. - Unified Math: Cable limits, fuse ratings, and machine inputs are now strictly tied to the same energy mathematics.
- 3-Stage Overload System: Grid failures now follow a clear escalation path: Warning ➡️ Damage ➡️ Explosion.
- Ghost Power Eliminated: Fixed a bug where phantom energy would accumulate in unpowered cables.
- Processing Tiers Established:
Mortar: Manual, slower, lower yield.Macerator: Electric, powerful, higher yield.
📖 The Blitz Guidebook
- The
Blitz Guidebookis now automatically granted upon first joining a world. - Added a simple crafting recipe to recreate the book if lost.
- Fully Localized: 100% supported in both English and Turkish.
- New Chapters: Added comprehensive sections for Mining & Tools, Processing & Dusts, Grid Safety, and Ages & Progression.
- Visual Learning: Added 3D in-world visualizations showing Correct vs. Incorrect machine
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
