Adds a Blood Moon event that makes surviving the night much harder.
Each in-game night has a small chance of turning into a Blood Night. When it triggers:
- Hostile mob spawns are boosted (configurable multiplier).
- Nearby hostile mobs aggro on every player and chase them faster.
- The moon turns red, and hostile mobs emit red particles.
- The screen gets a subtle red vignette.
- Chat announces the start and end of the event, in your own language.
Operators can force the event early with /bloodnight.
All chance, spawn multiplier, aggro radius, mob speed, and visual effects are configurable in-game via Mod Menu — no manual file editing required.
Requires: Fabric API Optional: Mod Menu (for the in-game settings screen)
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
