Terrible Terror and Speed Stinger join the playable roster, each with its own possessed type, lives default and dig profile.
Flight is BoD’s own. The FAUNA rider stack (steering, takeoff, breath, free look, secondary, grab, dodge, camera) is untouched. The mod only replaces the owner, saddle and taming gates with a possessor check, seeds its types into FAUNA’s host table so BoD’s keys and assets apply, and keeps the mind built but unticked.
Body behaviour rebuilt on FAUNA. Bite uses FAUNA’s melee handler. Sit uses the begging flag, lie down the sleeping pose, threat and prowl the posturing and stalking poses, roar BoD’s own warn expression. Glow markings and Geno Studio pins ported to FAUNA’s palette resolver.
Phylactery questline replaces the Transformation items. Charged Amethyst from lightning, Shimmering Scale, Crystalline Orb with the new Soul Hunt effect and five undead kills, infusion by defeating the species, four nether stars, four obsidian. The phylactery is the ritual, the human-to-dragon toggle, and the way to withdraw a dragon with its full NBT. Phylactery-born bodies are permanent for non-ops.
Rarity bonus. Imbued Diamonds on an anvil push the phylactery up to +20, steering BoD’s own genetics roll towards rarer and better genetics. Binding and soul split. One bound phylactery per player by default.
Config allows multiples, with 72 chat-only whispers in three escalating pools and a wait that shortens per vessel. Disabled by default.
Networking, config, keys. Packets rewritten as NeoForge payloads. New config: shared health toggle, permanent bodies, multiple phylacteries, whispers.
Removed: the LOD override and the grab key, both native in BoD 1.4.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
