Changes
v1.0.2:
- First release for Forge and NeoForge. Same features as Boss Bar Begone 1.0.2 for Fabric.
- Hide boss bars by part of their text or by the translation key of their name (entity.minecraft.wither hides the Wither in every language). Case is ignored.
- Hidden bars stay in the game's list and are only left out when drawn, so server updates sent for them never fail.
- Settings screen: open the Mods list from the title screen, select Boss Bar Begone, then Config. Remove a name, or add one with the Add button or the Enter key. No extra mod is needed.
- hide_effects setting, off by default: a hidden bar keeps its dark sky, fog and dragon music, like a vanilla fight without its HUD. Turn it on, in the file or with the button on the settings screen, to remove those effects too.
- Changes to config/bossbarbegone.json apply without restarting the game. A file with a typo is reported in the log and the previous settings stay active.
- Install it on the client.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
