Changes
๐ v0.1 - Initial Release
"Embark on a more structured and rewarding riding adventure! Bridle unifies how you tame, decorate, and control your favorite companions."
โจ New Features & Enhancements
๐ Universal Saddle Requirement
- Saddle Up: Saddles are now the mandatory requirement to mount any rideable creature (Pigs, Striders, Llamas, Happy Ghasts, Horses, Donkeys, Mules, Skeleton & Zombie Horses, Camels, and Nautilus).
- Decoupled Steering: Placing a saddle allows you to mount and sit on a creature, but you must equip its designated steering tool to steer it.
๐งญ Tailored Steering Guides
- Bridles: Guide Equines (Horses, Donkeys, Mules, Skeleton & Zombie Horses) and Camels using a Bridle in their dedicated equipment slot.
- Goggles: Guide Happy Ghasts using Goggles in their equipment slot.
- Heart of the Sea: Guide tamed Nautilus using the Heart of the Sea in their slot.
- Sticks: Guide Pigs and Striders using a Carrot on a Stick or Warped Fungus on a Stick respectively.
๐งต Cozy Color Blankets
- Aesthetic Rework: Llamas no longer use carpets for decorationโthey now wear customizable Blankets in any of the 16 colors.
- Happy Ghasts: Happy Ghasts no longer use harnesses. Instead, they share the exact same cozy Blankets system for color customization.
๐ Nautilus Breath & Conduit Power
- Conduit Guide: Equipping the Heart of the Sea on a tamed Nautilus shell opens and illuminates its glowing conduit eye.
- Nautilus Breath: Guiding your active Nautilus prevents your oxygen meter from depleting under the waves, giving a logical lore reason for underwater breathing.
๐ Dropped Gear on Death
- Item Security: When a mount dies, it safely drops its equipped gear (saddles, blankets, bridles, goggles, and hearts of the sea) intact with their custom names, colors, and descriptions.
๐ Supported Translations
- Full Localization: Fully localized in English (US), Spanish (with local color names), Portuguese (Brazil), and French (France).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
