Changes
Better Trim Tooltips 1.0.1
Changed
- Lower Fabric minimums: instead of the Fabric API build the mod was compiled against (for example 0.92.7 on 1.20.1) and Fabric Loader 0.16.10 on 1.20.1, 1.0.1 asks only for the oldest Fabric Loader and Fabric API of each Minecraft release that the mod and Architectury API work with.
- Fabric 26.1.2 now requires Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer: the current Architectury API crashes the game at startup on older loaders.
- Forge now requires the first recommended build of each line (47.1.0, 52.1.0, 61.1.0). 1.0.0 also accepted the 47.0.x, 52.0.x and 61.0.x beta builds.
- NeoForge minimums are the first build of each line that Architectury API accepts (for example 21.11.0-beta on 1.21.11, which 1.0.0 excluded by mistake).
Fixed
- Minecraft 1.21.11 on Forge and NeoForge: the log no longer shows "Couldn't load mod/bettertrimtooltips pack metadata" every time a world is loaded.
Unchanged
- Armor trim tooltips are condensed exactly as in 1.0.0.
- Same settings screen, config file, key binding and /bettertrimtooltips / /btt commands.
- Same Minecraft versions and loaders: nothing added, nothing removed. No 1.19.2 build: armor trims do not exist before Minecraft 1.20.
Compatibility
- Client-side only: a server does not need the mod.
- Fabric needs Fabric API and Architectury API, NeoForge needs Architectury API, Forge needs nothing but Forge.

Architectury API is required on Fabric and NeoForge only.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
