1.9.1+26.2
Compatibility
Changes
BuildAid 1.9.1 — everything new since 1.0.0 (the previous version on Modrinth). Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric.
New menu
- One window with 4 categories — References, Building, Blocks, Interface — and each page as a tab at the top. Anything that doesn't fit scrolls; nothing overflows.
- Every page shows one sentence explaining what it is for, and main toggles explain themselves on hover.
Gopens and closes the menu. The Advanced button opens the full settings (Cloth Config).
References
- Several image panels at once, each with its own image, opacity, zoom, pan, rotation and lock.
- Sticky notes on the screen (materials, reminders), editable line by line.
- Holograms: put an image inside the world at real block size, facing any direction.
- Gallery with search, rename and delete. Images of any resolution load reliably; pasting from the browser works on Windows.
Building
- 3D shape guides: box, cylinder, sphere, dome, pyramid, cone, gable/hip roofs, helix, spiral stairs, arch, torus, diamond, curve, octagon, fence. Hollow or solid, rotation, thickness, per-layer block counts, show one layer at a time, 7 colors + rainbow per layer, an outline on every block.
- Move and rotate holograms and shapes by aiming at them.
- Area selection: nudge, grow/shrink, center column, and a materials list showing how many of each block you already have.
- Project: import a .litematic or capture the selection as a ghost build; rotate, mirror, bring it to you. Build check paints missing blocks yellow and wrong blocks red, with a progress bar and a chat report.
- Guides: floor grid (with Y lock), tape measure with pinned measurements, symmetry plane (single, cross or radial, with a fixed center) and a mob spawn detector.
Blocks
- Color picker → blocks: pick any color and get the blocks that match it, plus 8 ready-made themes (medieval, modern, nether...). Equip them to the hotbar (Creative gives them; Survival only arranges what you own) or turn them into a note.
- Randomizer: a weighted block list; with Roll on place, every block you place swaps your hand to another random one.
Interface
- Appearance page: Dark, Graphite, Midnight or Light palette; 7 accent colors or any custom color; rounded corners; menu transparency; HUD size and background; shape fill and outline.
- Info HUD in plain words: position, facing, light (
12 of 15, warns only when mobs can really spawn), aimed block and distance, biome, time, FPS, held item count, tool durability, selection size. 4 corners, 3 backgrounds, 6 text colors; shrinks by itself on small windows. - Profiles: save and switch whole setups (one per project). Undo for the last structural change.
Changed
- Only
Gis bound by default now (1.0.0 also boundH,BandM). Every action is in the menu, and any of them can get a key in Options → Controls → BuildAid. - New icon.
Still
- 100% client-side, no mixins, works on any server. English and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Mover e girar hologramas e formas mirando neles.
Continua
- 100% client-side, sem mixins, funciona em qualquer servidor. Inglês e português do Brasil.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
