Celestia 1.1.0: ENGLISH
This update improves Celestia's maximum visual mode so shooting stars can look like long, clean, cinematic lines, closer to a nighttime long-exposure photograph.
Main Changes
- The
maximummode now renders powerful shooting stars as long, thin, consistent straight lines. - The dotted maximum trail was replaced with a photographic line rendered directly by the particle.
- The meteor head stays white, bright, and compact.
- The tail now keeps the meteor's chemical color: warm white, gold, copper green, diamond blue, or nickel lime.
- A smooth appearance was added so the star no longer pops into the sky all at once.
- Occasional fast meteors were added, with higher speed and stronger visual presence.
Maximum/Cinematic Mode
The maximum trail detail is now intended for screenshots, shaders, and stronger clients.
In this mode:
- The trail is much longer.
- The line is more continuous and less dotted.
- The head appears white and intense.
- The tail is tinted with the meteor's real color.
- The initial appearance is progressive, starting shorter and dimmer.
This mode costs more performance than low, balanced, and high.
Fast Meteors
Fast meteors can now appear occasionally.
These meteors:
- Travel much faster.
- Have a larger visual scale.
- Feel rarer and more spectacular.
- Work especially well with
maximummode.
Recommended Settings
To see the new cover-style look, use:
trailDetail=maximum
glowEnabled=true
localVisualPower=1.00
You can also change it from Mod Menu:
Trail detail:Maximum cinematicGlow:ON
Compatibility
low,balanced, andhighremain lighter modes.- The heavier visual cost is concentrated in
maximum. - No mixins were added.
- The system still uses Fabric-compatible particles and rendering, designed to work well with Sodium/Iris.

trailDetail=maximum
glowEnabled=true
localVisualPower=1.00
También puedes cambiarlo desde Mod Menu:
Detalle de estela:Máximo cinemáticoHalo:ON
Compatibilidad
- Los modos
low,balancedyhighsiguen siendo más ligeros. - El coste visual fuerte queda concentrado en
maximum.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
