Chao Garden Mod 1.0.15
Slime Chao armor now plays nicely with shaders, an overfed Chao gets over it within a day, and the Friends list gets a Close button.
🟢 Slime Chao armor
- Works with shaders. With Iris shaders on, the armor's jelly arm now stays wrapped round your own arm in first person instead of floating about in front of you, and no stray copy of the armor appears behind you.
- No more flickering arm. The jelly arm no longer flickers in stripes while you're standing still.
- Your cape tucks away. Your cape is hidden while you're wearing a Slime Chao, the same as while you're carrying one.
- 3D Skin Layers friendly. If you use 3D Skin Layers, your skin's outer layer is hidden while you wear the armor, so it can't poke through the jelly (or over the Chao's eyes).
🍎 Belly & mood
- Overfed Chao get over it within a day. Anything past the middle of the belly bar digests much faster now. Even stuffed to the brim, a Chao is back to comfortably full within one in-game day (about 20 minutes), then empties at the usual speed. It used to stay Stuffed, and upset, for days.
- Pet away a sulk. Pet a Stuffed Chao three times in a row and it calms down for the rest of the day. One pet still forgives a hit straight away. A starving Chao still needs feeding.
- The Feeding and Mood & Traits pages in the How-To menu explain both.
💬 Friends list
- New Close button. Back still steps back one Chao at a time; Close takes you straight back to the PC, however many friends you've clicked through.
Requirements
Fabric Loader, Fabric API and GeckoLib.
⚠️ Update the mod on your server and on every player's game together. Everyone needs the same version.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
