🛠 Version 1.8.4-SNAPSHOT
🎨 Visuals & Assets
- New Textures: Added 5 new textures for expanded customization.
- Texture Fallback Fix: Resolved a bug where missing textures would revert to the default placeholder. The system now handles missing assets more gracefully.
⚙️ Entity Mechanics & Physics
- Kinetic Damage Scaling: The intensity of the bounce now scales with damage. Hitting the cube with high-tier weapons (or Strength effects) will cause it to bounce at extreme speeds for a much longer duration.
- Smart Interaction: Improved the
mobInteractflow. If the Sulfur Cube already contains a block, it will now properly eject the old block as an item before absorbing a new one from the player. - Silent Landing: Overrode fall damage logic to remove the "Creative mode" landing dust particles and thud sounds, keeping the movement clean and fluid.
🩹 Bug Fixes
- Ceiling & Corner Fix: Resolved a major issue where the cube would "stick" to ceilings or get stuck in room corners.
- Physics Settle Trap: Removed the "settle trap" that caused the cube to lose all momentum on soft wall/ceiling impacts.
- Retention Balancing: Fine-tuned speed retention to ensure high-velocity impacts don't lose energy too quickly.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
