ChatFS Update — Material Design 3, In-Game Paint Editor & Video Player!
What's New:
- Material Design 3 UI: Clean modern icons from the official Google Material icon pack across all mod screens.
- In-Game Image Editor (Paint): When selecting images through any method, edit them before sending: 2, 4, 8, and 14px brushes, an eraser tool, custom colors, and undo history (Ctrl+Z).
- Clipboard Integration (Ctrl+V): Press Ctrl+V in chat to instantly attach screenshots (Win+Shift+S / PrintScreen), video clips, or copied files.
- Enhanced Image Viewer: Click [View] on received images in chat to open a dedicated viewer, open in default photo viewer, or edit and forward.
- Embedded In-Game Video Player: Watch MP4 and MOV videos directly in Minecraft with hardware-accelerated playback and bicubic scaling.
- Interactive Video Controls: Timeline scrubber (seek ±5s with arrow keys), volume controls via mouse wheel and Up/Down keys, instant mute (M key), and an on-screen display (OSD) indicator.
- Smart Audio: Ambient Minecraft game music automatically pauses during video playback.
- Smart Video Compression: Large videos (>100 MB) can be automatically compressed down to ~85 MB with high-speed H.264 using FFmpeg (includes a 1-click automatic FFmpeg downloader in settings).
- Server Safety & Folder Unpacking: 50 MB limit for standard files (increased to 100 MB for video files with compression), anti-spam protection, and folder transfers with automatic ZIP archiving and unpacking on the recipient's PC.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
